Orientation Camp ist ja schön und gut und ich hatte wirklich eine schöne Woche hier, aber nachdem ich jetzt offiziell in Indien registriert bin und vom Gründer des ICDE Indias bei einem Abendessen in einem schicken Hotel willkommen geheißen wurde, kann es jetzt auch gerne endlich losgehen.
In einer halben Stunde fahren wir also nach Mysore. Diejenigen, die in Gastfamilien leben werden, werden erst einmal dort hingebracht. Ava (eine Mitfreiwillige) und ich werden uns jedoch im Projekt ein Zimmer teilen und können somit schon bald sehen, wo wir unsere nächsten 12 Monate verbringen werden.
Da wir die ersten Freiwillign in dem Projekt sind, sind die Informationen bisher eher sperrlich und so weiß ich auch nicht, wann ich das nächste mal Internet haben werde. Ich melde mich sobald wie möglich.
We all had a great time at Orientation Camp but after I am now officially registered in India and the founder of ICDE India welcomed us during a dinner in a nice hotel, I'm ready for the actual part of my year here to begin.
In half an hour we are going to go to Mysore. Those of us who stay at host families will be dropped off there. Ava (another volunteer here) and I however, will be staying directly at the project so we will soon be where we will spend the next 12 months of our lives.
Since we are the first volunteers at this project, we haven gotten too much information which is why I also don't know when I will have wifi again. You will hear from me as soon as possible.
